Welcome to Sunrise High School

At Sunrise High, admissions are made on merit basis subject to the number of seats available. The admission forms, available in first week of April, can be obtained from the school office.  The completed form should be submitted along with the following documents

 

  • Copy of the last progress report card from the previous school

  • Copy of birth certificate and Aadhar card (please bring the original for verification)

  • Original Transfer certificate from the previous school

Admission in LKG/UKG is on the basis of an interview of parents.  An assessment test will be taken in Math, English and Telugu for admission in classes I to IX.  And dependent on the availability of seats.

Interview schedule - The child will then be interviewed, along with the parents for a better understanding of background - to foster like-mindedness.

Rules & Regulations

  • Sunrise High is a secular, co-educational institution. Boys and girls should bear a very healthy and cultured relationship amongst themselves

  • Students are not permitted to receive guests at school. Parents / Guardians will not visit their wards in the classrooms, without permission from the Headmistress or the Principal

  • Students are not allowed to use any of the telephones in the school to either make or receive calls without permission from the Headmistress / Principal

  • Progress Reports for all the exams will be handed over in person to the parents on days specified in the Calendar of Events. Parents must make it convenient to attend the Parent-Teacher Meetings

  • Attendance at the morning assembly is compulsory for all students

  • All students are expected to be punctual and observe the school timings very strictly. The school gates will close on time

  • Any student, who is absent from school must furnish a letter from either of the parents or the guardian (addressed to the Principal / Headmistress through the class teacher), explaining the reasons. A medical certificate should also be presented in case of long medical absence

  • Any child suffering from any infectious illness should not be sent to school until duly certified by a doctor

  • All children should carry to school a healthy snack for consumption during the mid-morning break. Candies and junk food should be avoided
